Past and Present Tense Matching game
In a group, students are to write as many past and present tense words that they know, however the words cannot be repeated in a group. The words must include the 3 types of past tense (same form, different form and -ed).
After that, they were given 4 minutes to match the past tense form to the present tense form. The 3 groups with all words correctly matched will win a prize!
2) Shared Learning experience (Sleep time!)
2Peace students brought their Snuzzle to class! And I promised them that we will be 'sleeping' in class with their Snuzzle. I played some soothing music and each of them found themselves a cozy little corner (some prefer slping side by side with their BFF).
Following this activity, I will be tapping on this shared experience and extend it into a writing lesson. :)
